I desperately need a new pair of cowgirl boots to ride in, my current pair has duct tape wrapped around a sizeable hole by my big toe, and soon I'll be able to go to Cavenders to pick out a new pair. The last two pairs I've bought were boys or mens because my feet are pretty wide and I hate going up two sizes in women's boots just so I can put my foot in there. Ate the any women's boot brands that are more forgiving for wider feet? I was looking at a pair of Ariats and Macy Bean's but I have no idea.

Square toe works best.  Tin Haul works well for wide feet.  I would stay away from macie Bean but Anderson Bean you can get in wide width.  Lots of companies make a wide width, Tony, Justin etc.  Any decent western store that sells boots should be able to stretch the instep so you can get through the throat of the boot.  The bigger retailers don't have the best customer service.  Have someone measure your foot.

I agree, have someone knowledgeable measure your feet. My in-laws have a boot shop, and you can't believe how many people come in requesting an incorrect size. Search for a brand that comes in multiple widths. It might cost you more money up front, but is definitely worth it in the long run.

i love my tony lama boots San Saba they are wide enough in the B but I have a C width pair too! They seem wider than the C width justin bent rail; and Boulet all come in a C that are really just a wider B, imo. Twisted x come in a true wide C as well. You can also try mens depending on your heel width. I haven't tried tin haul yet, heard they do run 1/2-1 size big. Arait were never comfortable for me i don't know why.

I have flat feet and the Twisted X boots with the wide toe base works great for me. I would love to buy a better quality boot but I have yet to find any that doesn't end up hurting my feet.

Have a true C width foot (and a size 5 on top of that).. Tony Lama carry C width at a size 6 and larger as does Anderson Bean. I have gotten by both of those brands in a B width bc they were forgiving. the AB took longer to break in BUT they have held up great. The TL were instantly more comfy but they were doe skunk i bekieve and will not hold up as long as the AB. The AB is 7 years old at least and I’ve resolved them. The TL were meeting/dress boots for 3 years and years hey will not hold up once they go to the barn..

I wear a 6 1/2 D. I have always had decent luck with Ariat. The All Terrains have a good stretch to them so I can get their B width and be ok with them (once they break in). The C width is wide enough from the start but still stretches out pretty good. As far regular boots I had a pair of their ropers for years. I think they were the C width too but had plenty of stretch and fit without issue. Currently I have another pair of Ariats (not ropers) but I did have to go a 1/2 size up.

I have never tried on the real expensive boots because my budget is always about $100

I have wide feet as well as size 11's. Found that ariat, tin hauls and noconas work well (the noconas i picked up at a tack store clearance event, they are the soft leather ones.)

How wide are you? I used to have to buy mens. Last 3 pairs I have purchased were C width Ariat square toe. RARE find but perfect fit when I find them. Happy hunting and I feel your pain cause my current pair just blew a HUGE hole in the side and I'm fixing to have to go hunting myself.

The only boots comfortable for my toes are the very round Ariats. Like their fat babies but a taller version. Definitely not β€œstylish” but I can wear them all day without my feet hurting.
Something like this:

I have a wide foot and have always done best wearing a youth boot. For some reason youth boots/shoes are always wider.  They are also much less expensive, so I’m happy to buy them.  The only downside is lack of selection if you want a really nice or fancy boot.

Right? I honestly just bought a new "girls" pair in December (?) And they were falling apart by a few months of work. I wish I never bought them but now I know NOT to buy them for my little girls. But the "boys" pair I bought years ago have held up great besides the hole in the front now.
I believe I need a size C in width because I can fit in square toe Ariats size 8 in women's BUT I have almost two inches of extra boot. If I go any smaller in women's then the width seems to get smaller too.

Are the Tin Haul boots comfortable for standing/walking? I was never impressed just trying one on but I've been having bad foot problems so need to find something wider to accommodate my now fat feet lol
