Oh gosh, sorry y'all! I am absolutely fine. I have been on the board every day....just haven't checked back in on this thread. I'm absolutely fine. No damage, no power outage, horses were all fine. Thank you for the concern. Completely my fault for not checking in. The hurricane had a mind of its own and took a path further west (it was originally coming right at us), so we really saw minimal damage.

They are so scary though. Even with just rain (3-5") and winds (max of 55 mph), driving around town you see very little damage, and then out of the blue, you'll see a whole roof peeled back like a banana skin. Mother nature is nothing to mess with.

we just got power back last night at 7pm
we live in oyster bay fl surge was 8 to 9 feet  i am 19 20 in air  some damge elavotor messed up soooooo the good looking national guard carried me up the stairs
my bottom room blew out but its designexd to do my dock  the water so high floated over 16  foot piling but went to neigbors and stopped

we are blessed no deaths

4 condemn houses in oyster bay shell point a lot more

national guard is stll at cross roads no one allowed in unless proof of residents  red cross giving meals at firestation and water as some shell point have no water or power for about 3 weeks if lucky

we are a small community everyone is sharing helping this is american i know

i don/t knpw how to post pictures or video but if you want some im me i send them to you

oh i went to specail needs shelter in tally very safe
