| Since the Lisa lockhart flex2 by circle y is made for a horse wide and stout through the shoulders how different is the regular versus the wide. I assume the regular is somewhat wide already? How different is the tree compared to kelly kaminski wide flex2? |

| I tried a circle y flex tree on my cow bred very wide/flat shouldered mare. The place I was at had a wide and a regular. The regular was perfect. the wide was too wide, and this horse's back is so flat and wide she could carry a dinner plate.
I don't know much about the difference between the LL and the KK, but I believe the one I tried on her was a KK. It was a super nice saddle. |

Here they are "stacked" on my saddle rack in my trailer.
The wide fits my horse Red perfectly. He is a classic beefy QH. The regular fits my horse Shotgun perfectly. He's got big shoulders but yet he's not super wide. The bar angle on the wide was fine, but it sat really downhill on him b/c the gullet was way too wide. The regular also fits Dexter pretty well. He does not have big shoulders, but he has prominent withers.
The bar angle is slightly different (a little bit wider on the wide) but (I think) the biggest different between the saddles is the gullet. The WIDE is a lot wider and will sit lower on a horse, which is good if they are really beefy and/or have a wider back.
I don't quite have my measuring tape in the right spot, but you can still get the general idea.
I had emailed circle Y about the Kelly Kaminkski. They told me the KK is 3 degrees more narrow than the LL, and the seat is also 1/2" deeper.

| I had a KK and now have the LL regular tree. The LL has fit every horse I've ever owned. The KK sits you up off the horse a little, more secure seat, but not as wide the regular LL. My horses have been racebred with a pretty dominant shoulders. Both are good saddles! The LL feels like you're riding right down on the horse, but also low front profile, whereas the KK feels more secure. I like the fit of the LL on the horse better. Can't imagine having a horse so wide as the reg tree would not fit. If you've ever owned a Marlene special effx, the LL is very very close, but wider, if that helps |

Thanks for the photos! Where did you get a LL with a wool bottom? I'm not a fan of the carpet. Thanks! |
