Maybe a program on how certain bits work and other pieces of tack
A program on deworming
A program on proper nutrition and supplments and wound care
How simple is really the best way to take care of a horse, (in regards to supplements, magic wands, etc etc)

| We always did a few volunteer days a year in our old 4h!
Such as working at a horse rescue/sanctuary for a day
Helping to groom/rake and work the gate at local barrel races (concession stands for the younger riders)
Love the guest speaker idea also!
We had an equine dentist do a float demonstration
Also had a vet/farrier bring in a leg for a bone/foot demo
Hope this helps =] |

| We went over fund raising, wound care, bandage wrapping, what shows we would help at, 4-h park clean up day. 4-h is a learning experience. Anything you can teach them will be a benefit. Public speakers are the best. |
