I have a 20 yr old mare and I want her to feel her best. What are all of your go to therapy sheets? I have Rambo Ionic stable boots right now but I am not sure if I want their sheets or someone else's. I do not care if it is off brand or something else, I just do not wish to start fights about the sciences behind different blankets. I would just love to hear what blankets you use and why. Thank you so much!Β

Both my vet and chiropractor say they have seen big results from Back on Track sheets. IMO their expert opinion is all I need, however I also wear a lot of BOT products and I can personally attest to how great they work. Even my cat prefers laying on my human BOT blanket over other blankets, riddle me that.

I LOVE the BOT products! Really helps my gelding with the PSSM2. I've wrapped myself up in one of mine & felt wonderful. I had tried a MagnaCu on him & he was still having problems, he relaxes & his muscles get so soft & pliable with the BOT. And when I wrapped up in the MagnaCu, did nothing for me either. I've been slowly acquiring more Bot products for him (& me too!)

The nice thing about the Rambo Ionic sheets, and boots, wraps, etc., is that you can use them year round even in summer when it's hot.

Weatherbeeta came  out with their version in a product called Therapy-Tec but I don't have much feedback yet in regards to using in summer.

And then there's PHT and CuHorse which are long time favorites that can also be used year round and in summer months.

I personally love PHT stuff.  I know they are cashy, but you can get the original PHT sheets used usually for way less than the new ones.  I KNOW the magnets work, as I've used them on myself.   The copper I'm still on the fence about to tell you the truth as I can't see or feel much difference.  I do have the cuhorse magnetic stuff, after upgrading from the original PHT stuff and can't see much difference.

From personal with copper (on me) I can definitively say "It works"! I have worn a handmade copper bracelet for ten (10) years now and can tell the difference!

I personally love Back on Track and Draper Therapy products. BOT works amazingly well in the colder temperatures and my older horses warm up quicker after wearing BOT sheets and wraps. Draper is my go-to during the summer because the sheets are breathable and horses don't sweat under them. My 9 year old dog has a Draper sheet and instead of limping around slowly, he's bouncing down the sidewalk every morning. It just about turned him into a puppy again!

I've used copper as well.  But I'm just not sure over the hair coat, is what I should have said, I guess.

What she said!  I love how quickly my horses warm up after having a BOT or draper blanket on.  With that said, I do have a classic equine magnetic fly sheet that I use if I think they are sore or potentially have a bit of swelling from a tough work out or a wreck.
