I'm looking at LQ trailers and am surprised at how many of them have the smaller frig.  What can you really put in the 3ft frig?  I have a motor home right now with the larger one and wish IT was bigger!  Does everyone just bring an ice chest?

Yea, the smaller ones are small. But they serve well for me. I don't put much in them. Only snacky type stuff. When I travel I like to go out so its all good.

My first LQ had a small fridge.

One of my must haves when we traded up was a big fridge with a separate freezer.

I try and save money when I travel and bring my food.  Plus I ice legs afterward so being able to buy one bag for the weekend and keep it from melting is nice - the freezer in my small fridge was very finicky.

but I know folks who get along fine with a small one for just drinks - it’s all in what you do.

I have one of the small ones. I don't bring a lot of food with me though as there's a group of us and we all potluck meals & eat leftovers for lunch. I do take a big cooler to keep ice in for my Hidez ice socks, so anything extra I just put in there. I keep my drinks in the cooler, so when I want to grab one I don't even have to go in the trailer. Then if it's muddy I don't have to worry about taking my shoes off or anything to snag a beer. I prefer to bring food that doesn't need refrigerated anyway
