Have you ordered from this company? I ordered a set of Shoofly boots 10 days ago and I never received tracking info. I have emailed and FB messaged the company and have received zero reply. I also tried to call, but no answer. It's just beginning to make me wonder, because I have ordered other items from companies in that same state and all were here days ago. No return reply from AJ's though. Their FB page has 5000+ likes, so I'm hoping they are reliable and there is just some communication barrier.

I ordered a set as well 10 days ago. However, my receipt does say PREORDER sale, so I firgured it would take longer than normal. Hopefully we didn't get scammed!

She's been really sick for the last 3 weeks and just posted last week she is finally well enough to start getting orders out especially from her sale. Unfortunately sounds like she is backed up.

Thanks for your replies, everyone. I guess my nervous scam bells started ringing a little bit because on Day 3, when I couldn't get an answer on the phone number, I sent an email, and a FB message. I received a response the following day that the phone was in the shop and she must have missed my email. That seemed odd, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Last night, she replied to my FB message from Day 9 in the middle of the night and said that she had been away for a family emergency for the last 5 days (slightly different reason than one of the other replies in this thread mentioned, but maybe she just was trying to be private). Just seems odd, but may totally be true. I haven't ordered from this company before, so I guess I'm just nervous since it's now Day 11 and I was charged immediately upon placing the order. I always try to order from "the little guy" before the chains when possible.

I've bought from her at barrel races up here but never ordered online.  She's very friendly and easy to work with. :)

Thank y'all. I feel much better knowing it should be a safe purchase.

I know theres a few of the little guys out that are really good people, but since I have been burned more then a few times from the little guys I'll just stick with the places that I know that are not going to burn me, I like to order reins and some custom tack from the people that I know and I love getting things from Running Roan Tack and RockyRoad and of course Crystal that is the dealer for T.H.E on here since they are Board Buddys..  They have always answered a email or pm with a day or a few hours.. But gosh when they get your money and wont answer emails for more then a week, that would rattle me too..

I agree. I have ordered from Rockyroad, the THE dealer, and I love Running Roan Tack (are they BHW members? I just got a new bridle I LOVE!)!

I must admit that whatever I can't find locally or through a distrubutor, I seek out on Amazon. The delivery guys may think I am a recluse!

Yept all three of them are members on here , but I havent seen Running Roan on here in a long time, I have bought a few saddles and other tack from her, I know her tack business has really grown so shes pretty darn busy making all her tack..Since they were members I felt they were super honest and was right about the feeling about them, I would ask a question and they would reply right back So I was sold on all 3 ladys

I did. On day 13 I messaged asking for an update. She said she would provide me with a $15 refund for the delay. She had multiple reasons. Within 2 days, I still hadn’t received it so I messaged again. She finally then pushed partial refund through and sent me a pic of tracking. She paid $40+ for overnight to me. The color was wrong but she claimed she didn’t have my size on hand and hated to delay it longer. It all worked out. She lost on the deal. But I wouldn’t order again. Because of her efforts, I do believe there must have been real circumstances holding her up. Stuff happens.
