Every time I haul long distance or out of state for rodeos my horses seem to pass less manure first couple days In their stalls!!! They go in trailer and they feel JUST FINE but their manure production slows!! I exercise them , they are eating and drinking NORMALLY....... so weird !!! Then after couple days seems to normalize. Anyone else ????

I just recently noticed that my mare seemed to slow down since I’ve been putting her in during the day while it’s 100 degrees. She eats the same, is an excellent drinker, but her 5-6 piles during the 12 hours in the stall went about 2. After a day or two of freaking out, I noticed it must be something about getting cooped up, because I counted her piles when she’s out at night and it was the normal 5-6. I think I’ve convinced myself it must be some side effect of less moving around.
