| I hate my job! What is wrong with my family? When will everyone get off my back? When it is my turn to be helped? Have you ever made these remarks or felt like making them? At some point most of us have. In Psalm 128 1-6 and Psalm 129:1-8. These emotions are addressed . At the outset he wanted us to know the key to handling emotional outbursts is obedience to God's Word. Obedience changes our perspective on life. We begin to see everything from a ministry rather than a chore. Our occupation, for example, becomes a mission field instead of a dreaded routine. We see our fellow employees as people in need of Christ or believers needing our encouragement. The change of perspective turns our job into a joy because we see a higher calling in what we do. In other words DO ALL THINGS IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS FOR HIS GLORY NOT YOUR OWN....then the psalmist extends the effects of our obedience to our family, our spouse, and our children and others will see and feel the positive results of our obedience to our heavenly Fahter. Ultimately , our obedience to biblical teaches blesses our community and our country. The pslamist assures those who are obedient that the Lord will deal justly with those who repress the godly. Pslam 128 BLESSED is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.
