Have you done your own living quarters? We are doing ours, keeping it very simple no plumbing. Already had AC and plug ins on the inside but that was all when we bought trailer. So far we have insulated the walls and hubby is putting the 1x2 boards on the walls. Can't decide to go with making my own soft walls or use paneling and painting it. and also don't know if I should do the ceiling in white or the same color as the walls. Any thoughts? and also already have cabinets! One is a tall cabinet made out of cedar and it is like a closet already. and the other is a baby changer that has drawer for trash can or you can put a pair of boots in that drawer and has other compartments and the right height that you can sit on it. So gonna make that my bench but need to paint it tho and not sure what color to do that! lol I am leaving the cedar cabinet alone! I want my living quarters to be different than the traditional living quarters. But I'm not a designer! And I have looked and looked at Pinterest and other trailers and still dont know what direction to go to! Thanks!
We redid our own 12' LQ. My dad is in construction so he did it all himself. We used exhisting paneling on the lower half of the wall and did soft touch on the top half. We also did soft touch on the ceiling and put a tray ceiling detail in the kitchen/sitting area. I dont have a good picture of it but here is a picture of the kitchen counter, you can barely see the soft touch and tray ceiling in the top corner lol. We used the same material on the counter tops and tray ceiling inlay.
