I recently had a really nice custom breastcollar made with leather flowers, and I want it to stay nice. I board, and my locker isn't that big. What is the best way to store a breastcollar to keep it from getting ruined?

I don't have super super fancy ones but I always put mine over the top of my saddle seat for storage.

Do you have a horse trailer you can keep it in?

If you don’t plan to use it frequently I would get a padded bridle bag and store it at home.

Ive had some nice custom tack walk off when stored in shared spaces.

If you live somewhere humid don’t store it in your trailer. It will mildew. If your not going to use it for daily use take it off and take it home. I keep my nice sets in my house on a rack. I hang them from the tugs. It helps keep their shape plus the climate control of the house helps the leather not dry out and keeps it from mildewing.

I board as well, and I live in an apartment and I literally have a corner in my living room where I store my tack. It's too humid here in Florida to keep everything in the tack room at my barn, it gets too much mildew.

I purchased a this coat hook rack thing off Amazon for all my headstalls, extra bits, reins, etc and I keep my saddle on a stand. I also have one of those cheap 3-drawer plastic storage things and I keep all my boots, wraps, etc in there. It's kind of a pain in the ass to load and unload all my stuff every time I want to ride or haul, but it keeps my stuff in good shape and forces me to keep it organized.
