I found several beetle type bugs in a bale of alfalfa I recently bought. They are 2cm long, some are a little smaller. Are these blister beetles?

Blister beetles have a very narrow thorax, no matter what type (striped, black, etc). That doesn’t look like one. You can probably ask your county agent to make sure

I'm going to say no. But also, that being said, I myself probably wouldn't feed it because im weird that way. Where did this alfalfa come from, if you know ..?
