Looking at purchasing a csi pad for team roping,  currently using a 1 inch 5 star pad which worked great this spring but my horse has "muscled up" and it seems to be too thick now. My question is would a 1/2 inch csi pad provide enough support for team roping? Thanks!!! 

I think it would.  We have both liners and we’ve roped in both.  Saddle fits a little better on this particular horse with a 3/4” liner but we don’t like how far off him we feel.

anyway, if your saddle fits well the 1/2” liner should be fine.

I have a CSI pad with a 1/2" liner and I would be fine with the idea of team roping in it.
