Anyone watch it pretty regularly? I recorded it several weeks ago and I'm finally finding time to watch it. Some of its interesting,  funny and then kind of weird! I enjoy watching it though! It was pretty cool to learn about the hyperbaric chamber. I could do without some of partying scenes and the tattoos but for the most part I think I'll keep watching

Not a fan frankly...I have to ask myself "would I want a vet who had been out partying and drinking to the wee hours injecting my horses hocks with no x-rays?" or heck, even with x-rays...

Same here, I want my Vets to be sober and clear headed, not impressed with all the partying that they do on that show, I watched a few times not something Im into.

Yes! I saw an episode where he was out at a bar and got a call in to perform emergency surgery on a colic. They said they gave him coffee on the way in so he was "ok". I agree with ya'll on the drinking thing... if you're going to go out drinking and gallivanting around make sure you are not the only vet on call!

He thinks way to much of himself for my taste. It is interesting and educational but he just ruins it for me

I think he thinks hes quite the lady's man lol! ... That bar where he took his underage son, slipped the door man $100 to let his boy in... that could potentially be a huge problem for that establishment! That whole thing was in poor taste in my opinion. I wish theyd stick with the veterinary stuff, surgeries and such, now that I like to watch.

It makes me wonder what kind of personality disorder makes a middle aged man act like a 21 yo.  I can't watch it for that reason.

I don’t even know if he’s doing the series anymore. A couple years ago I went to a vet conference where he was going to give a talk on tendon injuries. I thought he’d be a snobby no it all vet but nothing could be further from the truth. He was there early, introduced himself and started a conversation with my husband and mI . He was down to earth and engaging but high energy. I learned more about tendon injuries from him than I’d learned from anyone in the last ten years.

I never got the impression he was snobby, always seemed really approachable on the series.  I liked seeing the cutting trainers that I've read about and watched at the big shows talk about their experiences with him.

That's cool to know, ,maybe its just one of those instances where the show puts the image on for ratings but I watch shows like that for information, not entertainment...

The ones I recorded were from 15 or 16.   Like someone else said, I'm not sure they're doing it anymore.

I actually have been on the show, I got interviewed after Dr. Ray scoped our horse at a race in Montana. He is a lot different off the camera... we saw him all weekend and I thought he was a different person, but they also filmed the show a ton at the race we were at. I thought the scoping price was very reasonable and they didn't rush it. Afterwards they asked if they can interview my mom and I and we agreed for fun, why not. We made the show, but I haven't seen the episode.

I watched a couple episodes, thought they were hilarious! Dr. Ray is one of the most kind hearted, down to earth vets I have ever been to! We are so lucky in this area to have him up here!!! I actually wish he was closer to me that what he is! He is honestly one of the niecest vets I have ever met in my life! I had kind of forgot about the show actually, I might go watch a couple more episodes and laugh about it...... he was the one that told me about it too....... Great guy.... if you get a chance to take your horse to him or meet him.... you definately should!!
