Can you give me opinions as to if this upgrade is worth it.   Thank you!

Yes its worth it..

I’ve had both. I prefer the foam, but there’s not THAT big of a difference!

I have the foam. It's hard to say because I can't compare it to the exact same saddle with the fleece, but I like the foam. I'd pay for the upgrade to foam again in a future saddle. 

I bought a Double J LM in Feb and it doesn't have the foam. I love the saddle, but next time, I'd prob pay for the upgrade.

I love mine. I'd get the foam again.

 I have the foam because it doesn't pick up hay, the saddle pad doesn't slip and I can use less pad.
