Look into Tri Amino Acid. But really I dont think theres any hoof supplements that really work, I have one that is thin soled and I have never had a hoof supplement that worked, so started to look into Amino Acids.

IMO, hoof health is tied totally to overall health, i.e. your deworming and feeding program.  In my personal experience, a mare I own who has had absolutely terrible hooves forever -- shelly, tender soles, chippy, etc. (I purchased her at age 3 and she is 16 now.) did not see an improvement until I began a forage-based feed program (good pasture, hay and a ration balancer).  The only supplement I feed is Horse Health's Combo Joint Coat Hoof. This mare now goes barefoot.  She was getting the supplement prior to the switch, but I never saw any real improvement with her hooves; however, her coat was and is fabulous so I have continued the supplement.

I agree about the totally overall health being tied into a good diet, when I got this gelding 13 years ago his hooves were not in the best shape but as the years went by his hooves has gotton better but then had a setback when he was dignose as being EMS 4 years ago, so now adding Tri Amino and Forco to his diet and boy do I see a difference in a very good way, hes barefooted now to.

Nothing is going to magically fix it, good nutrition will work better than most. I have an appy gelding with thin soles and thin walls, his soles get so soft you can press your thumb in them like butter. Tough as Nails helps a lot to keep them harder & they don't crumble as much. Works better than anything else I've tried. Not a complete fix though. Keratex Hoof Hardener helps him so much too as far as pain wise, especially when it's wet out. Keeps them from going soft again. He has a hard time walking, you'd think he was foundered but its just his crappy feet. But the mix of good feed, Tough as Nails, & Keratex has keot him comfortable enough to still be ridden

GLC Hoof and bone. Swear by it after I used it on a broodmare that was trimmed too short.
