Just was wondering, will Renew Gold make your horse hot?

The regular formula never did but I put my horses on the senior when I'm hauling more and using my horses harder. They do get a pep In their step but wouldn't call them hot.

I never had a problem with that on all 5 horses. It actually calmed down 2 of my high strung horses.

The answer is No, Renew Gold will not make your horses hot, unless you want it to. Renew Gold significantly increases digestive effeciency. That is what it was designed to do. It is not just a fat supplement or grain replacing feed. The idea behind this unique formula is for the entire digestive system to benefit from the elimination of "road blocks"  to proper digestion caused by the overloading of the system with grain based starch and sugars that the horse doesn't need, and can't use. In addition to this, there is also a significant reduction of inflammation through the entire digestive system. The result is better uptake of the digestible energy from the Renew Gold diet that you feed in place of grains.

However, If you feed Renew Gold along with a grain based feed, Renew Gold will still do it's thing, and at least some of that feed will be more efficiently digested and may elevate blood sugar levels. The result here would be a hotter, less focused horse. If you eliminate or greatly reduce the grain based feed in the diet, the result will be a calmer, more focused horse with energy that is more "useable". I have had horse owners say that Renew Gold made their horses hot, but what they are experiencing is more complete digestion of excess starch and sugars that they are feeding. It is that unneeded excess starch and sugars in the diet that is causing the issue. The jiggy, hot type of energy never translates into performance, no matter what discipline you ride.
