I have had the BOT quick wraps for several years, and overall I've been very happy with them to help with stocking-up type issues, and to use for "warm up" before I ride or before a barrel race. However, I don't use them much in the summer when it's just too warm outside.

I have been eyeballing a mesh sheet for a long time. So for those that have one, do you notice a difference with yours? Was it worth your purchase? Or is it collecting dust?

I'm going to have my horses at home for the first time ever this year (yay!), so I might have more leeway with throwing it on in the morning for a short period when it is still cool enough in the summer before I go to work, or things like that. (Which I didn't before).  Horse #1 turned into my main man last year, pulled 1D checks most of the summer, but did come up a little bit back sore later in the year (also got mildly sore in the stifles, so that may have been the reason). So looking to be proactive to help him feel his best this year. Horse #2 may also make use of it -- he's a creaky old man at the young age of coming 14 this year, so could potentially help him move better and not be so stiff.

I hope so because I just put one on layaway with revelation ranch lol! I've been drooling over the burgundy mesh sheet forever and as soon as I saw they are offering a layaway program on all their stuff over $100 i jumped in.  I love my pair of BOT quick wraps and my back brace... I also bought the therapeutic bell boots a while back. I love BOT stuff I just cant afford all of it at once!

I have 2 and for the horses I use them on I could not do without them. The TB gets extremely sore and stiff trailering without his on and my horse has back issues that keep her lose and feeling great.

I've even used them on cattle that got hurt and baby calves that got too cold with huge sucess as well.

I do love mine for both my barrel horse and my 31 year old retired barrel horse. Worth every penny, I love the boots too.

I can not use it in the summer time because it is so thick. Of course, anything is too thick down here when it is muggy and hot down here in the land of mosquitoes. lol.

  • I love mine, have owned it for years and I still use it in the summer. Early mornings, evenings, just not during the hottest part of the day or in direct sunlight...too hot. I really like it this time of year when we have to haul to ride. I feel like he's already somewhat loosened up and ready to work. I don't think you'll regret buying one.

It is a good investment to have on hand. It isn't a fix it all type of deal, by any means, but it does have a place, in helping a horse be comfortable, especially in cool temps.

Thanks for the reply guys (and helping me spend money, haha).

So my next question is are they pretty true to size? Truth be told, I've never bought a real blanket for my horses (except for cooler sheets, and rain sheets for the purpose to throw over a saddle in the rain). I measured him to need an 80" sheet, which then I would order the 81".

I was told they are pretty true to size if you follow their measuring guidelines. My horse wears different sizes in different blankets. His turnout is a 78, I ordered a stable blanket in a 80 and it was way too small.. his cooler is an 81 and its fits great.  He measured at a 79 ... I ordered a 81 in BOT just to be safe.

Measure according to their measurements and if you're between sizes I believe they say to size up. It'll fit.

Absolutely love my BOT!  I got another sheet around Black Friday when they were on sale since I use my first one so much.  (I have the Turn Out blanket too).  I use their human products too - sold me when I got the first sheet & was feeling aching from the flu & wrapped up in it.  It made me feel SO much better.  I got my 95 year old mom one of the long sleeved shirts for Christmas for her arthritis & because she gets cold easily and she LOVES it too.  Great products

Love mine!! He's a 78 in blankets and I ordered a 78 in BOT and it fits great. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made!
