Location: TN | I've used CE legacy and iconoclast - while I like them both the legacies let dirt in and the iconoclasts wore out and got holes in them faster than the CE. I preferred the fit of the iconoclasts over the legacies.
I'm intrigued by the Classic Fit, but also curious to see if the Legacy 2s are any different than the original. I've also heard from several people that Ortho Equine are the way to go. So just wanted to get yalls opinions. Thanks in advance everyone! |

| I have both the Legacys and the Legacy2. I ordered the Legacy2 during Black Friday as I came across a good deal and didn't think there would be that much difference, but there is. I would describe my Legacys as thick, sturdy, and the fabric is very durable if that makes sense. The Legacy2s have a lot more stretch in the boot as a whole. They also seem to be thinner and the fabic is softer, reminds me of of the PCs or 5 star material, and there is more "flop" in the boot ( not on the horse just holding it). I don't have a huge problem with either letting dirt in. I am definitely interested to see if the L2 lasts as long as the originals as I feel like the originals will last forever, although they are a tad thick in my oppinion. I did try 5star and sold them pretty fast. There were always piles of dirt in them no matter how I put them on or how tight they were.

Location: Dubach, LA | I was a big Professional Choice fan up until the last few years. If you forgot and leave those expensive suckers on the fence a day, all the color/pattern fades!! If you want a boot you cannot wear out, go with Bar F. I have a pair of Top Hand boots that I'm very pleased with. They wear a little cooler and keep dirt out. |

Awesome! This is the information I've been looking for. I'll have to give the Legacy2's a try. They sound improved in the areas I didn't love before. |

Location: Southeastern Idaho | Tried the Pro Ortho Equine boots for the first time this year. My mare seems to work very well in them. I like the extra protection and the 2 way support straps so you aren't pulling the tendon one way. Heck of a sale going on right now....may be buying a couple more colors. |
