| I know Lainie personally or maybe I should say I used to know her personally. She has always barrel raced, as far as I know. She was married to David Kleck, a local vet in the Sallisaw arena and was barrel racing then, over 20 years ago. After they divorced, she married Ray Whitmire. I think she did do some cutting then, but returned back to barrel racing after that. Don't know if she still does any cutting or not; haven't talked to her in many years. |

Location: Northeast SD | They also own Bullseye Bullion that was ran at the NFR as a backup horse this past year. Glad he stayed in the states! |

Location: Austin, TX | Lainie Whitmire was on Western Sports Round Up (Cowboy Channel) today (6-23-2020). Comes on about 10 minutes into program. Talks about the purchase and the plans they have for him. Very complimentary about Judd Little and his operation. And that horse looked wonderful in the sale ring. They repeat these episodes if anyone is interested in watching. Also, off topic here about 30ish minutes into the show they talk to Martha Josey. They discuss several things, one of which adding breakaway roping to their clinics.

Have not heard but wouldn't be surprised if they did. He just was enrolled in the Royal Crown Incentive. |

Apparently 100 contracts were sent out in April, so lots did! I own three DTHs I've purchased from Jud and Benette over the years. They are so special I will be excited to see more of them out there. Did anyone buy one at the sale? |

I sure wanted to go to the sale but I knew they wouldn't go for my budget. And I really need to downsize a bit more. But it sure would have been nice! |

Location: Texas | If you want to see JLDTH's momma at her best, the Cowboy Channel is showing the 2003 NFR. It was on this morning but I missed it but is going to repeat at 2 a.m. central time. Set to recorder.
