Yes .. by mouth ..

Just make sure the horse is not hot and bothered when you give the dose of 2-3 cc .... a hot and upset horse will turn into a maniac ..

I hope you are kidding ... that rubber legged horse will break a leg or fall on you and break your neck ...

It is used to tranquilize horses for veterinary procedures. Its over use or over dose in male horses can cause penile prolapse, or an inability to retract the penis back into the sheath and can be permanent ..

If your horse is over excited going into the arena it is because he had been taught to be by rider jerking on bit and spurring at the same time etc etc ...

Using drugs are dangerous and not a magic fix ... do other things in arenas .. like sitting relaxed .. pasture/trail riding.. and correcting what you do to excite him at home ... once a horse knows the pattern keeping one legged up should be a pleasant ride outside the arena and taught to be lazy.   If you have Hancock or Drift bloodlines they are cold blooded and need to be rode down to take the fresh off of them.  I'm sure you have heard these words about certain horses ..  This horse can go all day .....  GOOD LUCK AND STAY OFF OF DRUGS ..

I dont like seeing anyone using ACE, I have seen people at a few races use it and they dont know the right dose and it turned a few of the horses into a crazy animal, alot of people dont know how to use it and really it should NOT be used in a barrel pen or Team penning, almost got my head taken off by a horse that was aced, the people didnt know squat and ruined that horse by giving ace to it, now if your really experience with this drug then ok. And I would never give a horse over 1 cc of it if being riden, maybe a 1/2 of cc. But really you need to look into T.H.E Calming/focus cookies, ask Krystal on here about them, you would be way better off using these cookies then ace. Krystal is a board member that sells T.H.E products and she can answer any question for you about the cookies.
