I tried switching my horse to it and he hated it.  The feed store manager told me his customers mix the TC Gold with the TC Gold Senior and the horses ate it better.  It has a palatable issue.  My horse was ok with that but he didn't nicker for it and took forever to finish it so I switched back to the Nutrena Proforce senior.  The Nutrena Proforce and Triple Crown Gold target the same issues, topline, gastric health, muscle recovery, etc but I wanted to go with the Triple Crown Gold because it is a fixed formula and has whey proteins instead of soy proteins.

That’s what I was afraid of.  I feed ADM Senior Glo.  And Healthy Glo for

added fat.  The triple crown gold looked good on paper.

I fed the Triple Gold Balancer. The horses ate it just fine.

Try it, and if your horse dont eat it, then go back to what you were feeding. If your horse is doing well/good on how you are feeding him/her then why change the way you are feeding now?
