I have a rodeo Queen saddle that was vandalized and transmission fluid was poured in the seat. What can I do to help this and clean it up? Thanks.

Ah man, that stinks.

I would probably echo the comment to replace the seat. It may be very difficult to get the oil (and smell) out of the padding.

But..... what if you let kitty litter set on the seat for a while? It absorbs many things .... maybe it could suck out some of the oil? Just a thought, since that's what I'll put down on the cement garage floor to clean up oil spills.

And maybe, could try a carpet shampoo'er, with one that has a hand held attachement. I wonder if you could shampoo it out??

I don't know if they would work but just some ideas!
