| Hello! I'm currently looking into buying one of their barrel saddles. Was wondering how everyone that has or has owed one in the past likes them. Are they a good saddle brand and how well do they fit your horses? I know they only have one tree size and I'm sceptical about buying on for my gelding. He is more on the thick muscular side and not exactly sure it would fit him. I'm thinking it would but not entirely sure. I have nobody in my area who has one so trying one out from someone is not an option. So does anyone know from experience if they fit more of a wider horse? Any input on how you like or dislike them would be helpful and much appreciated thank you! |

Location: California | I have a few corrientes and what I have noticed is they fit majority of the horses I ride I just have to adjust how much/how litte pad. A few narrow horses need more build up in the front and the wider horses don't need anything extra. |

| I love mine, it is the CSB550H. My mare is narrower and at first I did put a shim under the front but I don't use it anymore. I also switched to a thinner pad since I was having trouble with saddle roll with the thicker 5 Star that I had. My son ordered one for my granddaughter 10 or 12 weeks ago and it isn't scheduled to be done until March so I'd say that lots of people are liking them. When I ordered mine last January they were just 7 weeks out. You can't beat their price! |

| My dad won one a few years ago and he and I both really like it. It's comfortable to me and doesn't have a wide seat. I don't do wide seats. It fits my dad's appendix really well with a 3/4 5 Star pad. I havent tried it on my filly since she filled out but I bet it would fit her now. I think they are great saddles for the price. |

 Born not Made

Location: North Dakota | I won one last year. I thought that saddle was very beautiful and well-made for what I know they cost. It fit two of my three horses. I ended up selling it because I did not like the position it put me in as the rider. I felt "perched" on my horse's backs and couldn't get my pockets down deep. I rode in it a few times and decided I just did not like it and was not comfortable. Such a shame. I really liked the saddle itself! Just not how it rode for me. |

| What kind of seat do they have? I mean are they flatter with your legs under your hips or is a chair seat- legs in front of you? |

They tend to put your legs directly under you and even behind you a hair. BUT...... that's what I love about them. I cannot stand to be pushed back with my legs forward. I like to get up over my horse and that makes them awesome. Just depends on how you like to ride. They have one tree but lots of seat options. For me , hard, flat , all roughout. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | they are great for the money, I bought one just to see if I would like it, I didnt, it made me feel like I was perched on top of my horse, just was not the feeling I was looking for. They are nicely made saddles and fit your more narrow built horses, but just was not what I liked for me.. |
