For deep digital flexor tear? Which of either have you seen results with?

I'm a big time Renovo fan, as you know, having had my own success with it almost two years after onset of original lameness.  That being said, I think it would depend on the location and if you can get the Renovo directly into the lesion.  With deep digital tears, so often they're down in the hoof capsule, so difficult to diagnose and to treat, as there is no way to get images without MRI and no way to ensure you're getting the product into the right spot either, IF you can get it there.  I know we talked about this privately a while back too, but thought if nothing else, i'd bump your post up.  :

I have zero experience or knowledge of Pro Stride, so no help there.  Hoping you can find the right thing and have success with getting soundness!! As we discussed on messenger, I do feel like time is of the essence with these type injuries, as the more scar tissue there is, the less chance of regaining full soundness and more likely to reinjure, as scar tissue just doesn't have the same flexibility as tendons or ligaments, so they tend to reinjure due to that.

PROStride is going to reduce inflammation, similar to IRAP.
Renovo is regenerative and will help heal with less scar tissue. There are also other amniotic products like Anicell.
ETA, Renovo or comparable amniotic product . You need regeneration.

I am a prostride fan but I can see the benefits of prostride and/or renovo. We just treated another suspensory with Renovo yesterday so I am curious to see how it heals over time.

The cost for a single DDFT lesion is probably the same for both (prob around $800). Renovo can get real expensive really quickly, especially if the dose is greater than 1.5 ml or you have multiple sites. You can split one prostride dose into two coffin joint injections as an example.

They both have anti inflammatory cytokines (IRAP being one of the main ones) and both claim to have growth factors as well.

Both are easy to use. Renovo is shipped ready to use, just frozen. so you thaw it, inject it, and you're done. Prostride you harvest from the horse's blood but there's no overnight incubation like with IRAP. it probably takes 20 minutes to prepare and use it.
