Hi all
I have an 8 yr old mare that came to me VERY green broke this spring. Had been turned out till she was two, green broke at 3/4, and then more or less turned out again and lightly messed with until I bought her. Since then I've had her in fairly consistent work, got her patterned and have been working on starting to enter more as the weather improves. I had treated her for ulcers initially (super spooky, cinchy, etc). Now that shes in more consistent heavier work, I am looking for a good all around maintence supplement for joints and also gut health. Even if it's a good combo of supplements works . She is kind of picky, so would like to stay away from the liquids/powders if possible. She is fed proforce fuel (not a huge amount), CHS ration balancer mineral, and good quality alfalfa and grass hay. have used cosqeuin in the past on other horses, but am looking for other suggestions.
Thank you !
I'm a big fan of Ultra Cruze's line of supplements.

Is that one that is a more affordable Platinum Performance, just made by another company?

Yes ! I have used some of their stuff in the past. Their products are prettty much identical to platinum but cheaper.

I use their aloe vera pellets, their products are extremely reasonable and they are a very customer friendly company. Love their horse shampoo and conditioner too. Most of their stuff is available on chewy now as well. On a side note... I use a bunch of their poultry stuff too and haven't been disappointed. You can pretty much find everything you need on their website.
The two I've used and liked are THE Muscle Mass blends - Muscle Mass, Joint/arthritis/inflamation, Ulcer prevent, and moody mare (for my hormonal gelding.) It was powder. My picky eater ate it for quite some time and then just said nope one day.
Then I went to MVP 6 way. I do like it a lot, but my pocketbook suffers for it.
