That's called a Jim Warner hackamore. Looks like L&W work but if it's not stamped then who knows. But L&W could make you one just like it.

Looks a lot like a Carolina Bit Hackamore #TBH. But  I'm not for sure!!!! I've seen a bunch of hand made ones that look like this(with this type of shank). But I agree, L&W can make you one exactly how you may want it!!! Sorry for not being much help!

Not a Jim Warner.

The Shanks looks almost like a Goostree, but the noseband is not the same as a Goostree and the area for the crub.

Looks like a well made hackamore, I need to go threw my tack room again and see if maybe I have this one.

We call that style a Jim Warner regardless of who made it. I've know Jim since he was a kid. he made a bit of money off that branding. I don't know if he still gets paid or not.

That is a Partrade rope nose sidepull hack.  I recognize the thickness of the noseband and how it is tied.  Had one years ago.  I am not sure if it is in circulation any more.  I tried to find a supplier and all I found was an image.  You can get something similar with a familiar action from Shallow Creek, L&W, Carolina bits and Reinsman has a similar version but again the deal is the thick rope nose and how it is secured.

When the rope nose hacks started hitting the barrel racing scene I want to say that Jim's was the improvement on the designs already out there.

Your right the rope nose hacks were already out there befor Jim Warner came along. And Jim came up with his design of a mechanical/sidepull hack. Cant really say that Jim Warners is a improvement, LOL, I have two Jim Warners, a long shank and short shank and really like them. But I always worry when I do use them, always checking the clamp for the rope nose piece, they can pull out and the whole hack will fall away from the face of your horse. I had one do this and a friend was running poles and the same thing the rope nose came apart on her while running home. I have heard of others having the same problem, and now theres so many knock offs of the Warners hack out there "its crazy". Jim Warner made a side pull thats more of a mechanical type with the swivel shanks to work a bit like a side pull, cool design but I hate the clamps for the rope, then Brittany Pozzi came out with a better design of that hack and I have hers too and like it better.

I like the one the OP posted, the only thing is the knots on the rope can really gall a horses face if the horse has a wider face thou.

I think one of the improvements the warner hack boasted was the lack of rope knots.  I never cared for the warner hack feel but it was nothing against the hack itself.  I have a rope nose sidepull hack that was made for me back in the nineties and it spoiled me in design and fit.  I recently bought a Pozzi short shank hack and absolutely love it.

Brittanys have more balance and weight to hers, I like hers a lot better then the JW. I bought my JM's when they first hit the market. And I always felt they were just to light, but used them anyway.

And then Brittany came up with her's so I had to give hers a try, and I though {wow} theres a big differents between the two brands, made with the same ideal but hers is alot better.
