Hi I have a question.... I have always wanted to barrel race but due to my religion I don't wear jeans. My question is are you allowed to barrel race in a long skirt with leggings on underneath? 

I know a ton of girls who ride in that locally. Not sure about WPRA races though.

I would think if you at least had some type of pants/leggings underneat the skirt you would be good. I think theres some type of riding skirts that look kinda like pants out there.  

I found some but I cant post them here for some reason, I'll see if I can find some more. But if you google Ladys horseback riding skrits they should come up for you, they are super cute. 

I love these they are so darn cute. 

Had a friend who wore boot length denim cuolottes. It wasn't really that noticeable. 

I knew a girl who ran NBHA wearing a skirt with leggings due to her religion.  I know on the district it was allowed and I want to say state level too.  She was a tough rider to compete against so apparently the skirt didn't hinder her.
