Teskeys and Horsemen's Supply, both in Weatherford.  Teskeys probably has the most tack.

Forgot to add:  NRS in Decatur.  They have a lot of everything.

KO Trading is in the Stockyards on 140 E Exchange - they used to have a big store on 121 or I30, but I think they closed it down -- the one in the Stockyards is a lot of fun to walk through, but not huge, like Teskeys or NRS.

Really fancy - don't they offer you a beer while you shop?

I remember when they had a bar in the ladies department for the husbands to wait while their wifes shop. I guess they got too much push back on that though, since they took it out. I have been offered a beer while my boots were being shined though. Not sure that they still do that or not. Great store and amazing boots to look at. Word of warning, delivery time on boots is now over one year. All I wear though.

You are probably talking about the Maverick on the corner of exchange and Main, it's nice and has a bar along one wall.

I remember Maverick - clothing, though  no tack right? :)

More recently I had been in ML Leddy's, though, and we were offered a beer - or maybe just my husband, while I shopped :)  I really remember it more for the man in the saddle department who saw me checking out the sheep skin lining on the saddles.  I was trying to determine whether real or imitation, because of the color - it was a dark orange, which usually I thought was imitation wool.  He said it depends on the color of the sheep...... Hmmm

yes the maverick is just clothes.

I remember it well because I got drunk one night at the White Elephant and bought a $2000 leather beaded and fringed coat in the Maverick just because some folks we were with told me I wound't.

I never wore it btw

Oh, I hate to hear KO May have shut down the big store. They had good stuff at really good prices.
