Today is
I have one of the biggest shows I've ever been to next weekend. It is a 3 day show, but I may be only running two. It depends how my guy feels, I do not want to over-do it with him. Any suggestions/products to help give me any advantage? Flair strips, etc.? I have a magnetic hood, sheet, and hock boots. I also will be bringing poultice and lineament. Do flair strips work at all? Do you use electrolyte products for large, stressful shows? He is an anxoius horse and we have never been to this place before so I am probably bringing alfalfa pellets too for some extra calories. He loses weight easy. I am going to try to get some Lifewave patches as well and I think I still have some CBD paste.
I try to keep the same routine I do during the week working my horse as I do at a super show. The only thing I might change up is introducing more hay prior to the show since there won't be turn out and start 48 hours out with an ulcer med and finish up 48 hours afterwards. I also take an extra set of shoes for each horse, fans of course. Sounds like you are covering it or at least got a head start on it. Good luck!

Fans for your stalls. I keep my feed regime the same. With the addition of wet cubes which help with water consumption. If they are a nervous type horse, I will start Tuesday with a supplment I use for their stomachs.
Have fun and enjoy the show.
