If so - what do you think? what was the method you used post (3 day stall rest, 2 weeks off  - or other).

Have had a number of vets recommend it, like what I read/see from the devlopers but wanted to see what people have exerienced.

Thanks!

My experience with hydrogels has not been positive, whether they were collagen based or polyacrylamide (like Arthramid). The last horse that I used  Noltrex on (Polyacrylamide hydrogel) had such a severe reaction that he had to be put down. The other horse got Spryng injected into his stifles , severe reaction, stifles blew up. $5000 of vet work and 4 mo later he was close to normal.

Thanks Spryng was the other recommendation. Hope others have had better stories with using it.

I have some friends that have used Spryng and gotten along fine. I also have a friend that used Arthramid in a stifle after surgery, very good results. I think if you need a joint cushion it might be an option. If it's just for synovitis, no. Doesn't really make sense for hocks.
