Location: In the middle of what matters most. SD | I finally gave into my curiosity today since it was so windy and worked my stud (who has had the soundess problems) in the arena. He held his hind leads in the deep ground and is leaving his left turns harder than ever. It seemed like he was working so hard to get out of the turn last year, now he just snaps around it effortlessly. Granted, I did not run him hard or for very long. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high but it seems like something is working for him. Now is it the TLC supplements, Adequan, Legend, Myristol, his PHT Bell Boots, or my new SaddleRight pad?? LOL. I hope he stays sound. I've been looking at new (used) trailers instead of broodmares lately!! |

Location: In the middle of what matters most. SD | Shhh. bevc- You sound like my husband!! I think that I need a trailer with a nice weekender package to take my daughter along with me. I know if he stays sound, I'll be too scared to take him off the supplements to see what is working and what is not! The vet asked me how much money I had won on him since I was so deadset on getting him sound again. I was embarrassed to tell him since it was less than what I have spent on the TLC Supplements alone!!

Location: You never know where I will show up...... | Glad to hear Speedy is sound again! Are you going to try to run him anywhere in the near future? Platte has a couple runs coming up at the Yellow Rose. I plan to run Pablo down there. What kind of trailer are you looking for? I want to sell my Exiss trailer. It is a year old and is in mint condition with several nice options the regular ones don't have. PM me if you are interested. It is listed on horsetrailerworld and also there are pictures of it on my website on the sale barn page. www.schimkeranch.com |

Location: In the middle of what matters most. SD | dollbaby- You can email me at [email protected] and I will try to help you out. If you need them resized, you can send them to me and I can do that too. BarrelBankr, my stud is the PC Sun Socks stud. I am leasing the other one so I can run "Speedy". He had an injury to his pastern (probably from pasture breeding) that I never noticed and it ended up with some calcification there. It is really small. I was having problems that I thought I was causing and he ended up being misdiagnosed for two years and injecting his hocks once for no reason until we figured out what the real deal was. He only has problems when he is used hard. Rockinas- Did you get Pablo fixed up? How is Mugsy doing? Are you about done calving. It has been a nice calving season but I sure wish it would rain. I'll probably condition Speedy for another three weeks or so and then see how he does. I'll haul to the Yellow Rose and that new arena down in Burke if he is doing well. There are some in Broken Bow that I'd like to go to too if he holds up. I'd like to rodeo on him if he comes back. I am secretly dreaming of my own Cinderella Story!! I come up with all sorts of big dreams when I am loping out in the pasture! I am looking for a 4H with a decent weekender package, something that will make it easier to haul my daughter around with me. |

Rockinas- Did you get Pablo fixed up? Yep, he is fixed up and has been working nice ~knock on wood that it lasts awhile! It's a long time 'til summer yet! How is Mugsy doing? She's doing a little better every day. She's been living in her bell boots the last few weeks and I've been doing Light Therapy on her a couple times a week too. She is showing progress and is due for another ultrasound whenever I can get the time to take her back out to Sturgis. Hope to have her back by the first of June anyway, so I can rodeo again! Are you about done calving. It has been a nice calving season but I sure wish it would rain. It has been an awesome spring for temp~ we really need some rain though, don't we! I'm about done calving now, just in time for all the foaling and mare breeding activities! I'll probably condition Speedy for another three weeks or so and then see how he does. I'll haul to the Yellow Rose and that new arena down in Burke if he is doing well. There are some in Broken Bow that I'd like to go to too if he holds up. I'd like to rodeo on him if he comes back.
