Calling tomorrow to order a couple bags. Does anyone have any before and after pics or current pics of their horses on it?

I am currently feeding Ultium and was thinking of changing to Renew Gold... I was wondering also about comparison between the two.

I am just finishing thirty days I can take after pics tmrw.... I'm changing feeds to something else. I think it great for some horses. But the one I have on it turned into a fire breathing dragon. He was hot to begin with but it has dramatically increased. I have a clients horse that I think would do fantastic on it. I think it definitely took away his gut and started to muscle him up. I'm disappointed that it didn't work for him. Back to the drawing board.

Was probably not the feeds fault, but within a few days of starting both of my horses on it they both had a colic bout. Vet said to eliminate one thing at a time. As soon as i discontinued the renew gold they have been fine ever since. But I know a lot of people who like it and use it!

Renew Gold on it's own will not make a horse hot or colic. In just about every case, if fed as directed it lowers the starch load and safeties up the hind gut risk. It does however improve digestive efficiency. If the horse was eating something that it is sensitive to but not really digesting it completely, if left in the feeding program that may be your issue. If the horse got hotter it is because too much starch was left in the program and is now getting more digested. Take the excess starch source out. The program is pretty simple. Replace 3 or 4 pounds of conventional feed with one pound of Renew Gold for best results. It is guaranteed. If you don't like your result the company will replace the cost of the bag. You can send a proof of purchase to P.O. box 12, Willows CA 95988 for a refund. 100,000 bags sold, 7 bags refunded. If you would like help with your feeding program and how to use Renew Gold just call at 855 377 3639

I love Renew Gold. I fed it and only it to a horse, along with hay and beet pulp. She had free choice minerals and salt.

MAKE SURE YOU SUPPLEMENT MINERALS. It IS NOT a complete feed, hardly a "feed" in my opinion.

just a question...if youre feeding 6 lbs of feed to a horse and renew gold is made to replace up to 4 lbs of feed, would you still feed the 2 lbs difference of your other feed?

Renew Gold was made to be a complete food OR a supplement. You can try taking your horse down to only RG and if you feel it is enough then leave it but if you think your horse needs some extra then use it as a supplement with your other feed.

I LOVE RG. I use only a lb with FORCO and loose mineral and my horse looks and feels awesome! He is getting older and I had to feed at least double with other feeds to keep him at a good weight. RG helped put a strong topline on my horse. I will always feed it!

I just called the local supplier and they are getting $30.99 a bag....and I'm pretty sure these are only 30lb bags.  I saw on the Renew Gold website that they have a buy 10 get 1 free program.

I am in the process of waiting for my horse to "come down" off of the effects.  I know it's great for some horses but there are some that simply cannot tolerate it. Period.  This particular horse is very reactive to anything other than Safe Performance or Safe Choice.

HOT!!!!!  He gets that way fairly easy;however, I had him to the point that he was too laid back.  On the advice of others that swore that RG would let me get some weight on him without getting him hot, I put him on it.  It didn't take long before he was coming out of his skin.  I will go back to Safe Performance, it works for him and every time I try to put him on something that might allow him to add some weight it back fires on me.  Lesson learned, he was borderline dangerous for a couple of days.

I put two of my horses on it six weeks ago. I went from feeding 6lbs a day of Safe Choice Special Care (low starch), to 1lb of RG and 2lbs of Safe Chioice. They also each have an Equipride tub.

So, money-wize I am saving about $20 per month per horse!

I am absolutely astonished at the improvement in these two horses!! I am not exaggerating.

My Sunfrost colt looks like a different horse. He has filled out and looks phenomenal. And my good gelding looks better than he ever has...he is a HARD keeper and picky, and it cracks me up to listen to him go to town in his bucket at every feeding. I was brushing out his tail yesterday and honestly can't believe how different even it is now. He is also a spaz, and he seems much, much more focused.

I went and picked up my Streakin La Jolla from the trainers yesterday. He looks awful. He needs about 150 lbs and looks rough and his eyes are dull. I took a bunch of "before" pics yesterday. I started him on RG, Safe Choice, free feed orchard grass hay and I'm treating for ulcers just in case. I will keep you posted and add pics if it's successful!

I'll have some next week! Started my horse on it right after Christmas. I'll be back home in a week. Eager to see the difference! We are still in the process of switching them over so they've been getting a pound of RG with about a pound of COB. They were on 6 pounds of COB before.

I started one 4yr old one it a few weeks ago she gets it with whole oats. She isn't any hotter than normal for me is was basically a fat supplement. I would show you a picture but everyone is so fuzzy you can't tell what they look like anyhow.

I love it. My horses have NEVER been hot on it. I raised a weanling on it, and he's a very nicely built, nice minded young horse now.
My 18 year old and my 21 year old both do great on it. For all of them, I have noticed they are easy keepers on it, and I have reduced my overall feed bill by quite a bit.
It works out to $1/day per horse of RG and about 30% less hay. Over two years now and zero colic, no behavioral issues, and compliments everywhere I go. The reining horse trainer I sent my colt to was asking about it - he was really impressed by the quality.
