I know several on here have posted about this - the mysterious disappearance of a couple and their child in southern Oklahoma who vanished without a trace in 2009.  They may have an answer, or at least a partial answer. What appear to be 3 skeletal remains were found by deer hunters this weekend in that area.  If you want to read the story, it is on www.kotv.com.

Yes it is sad.  I don't know what kind of a monster could kill a child.

I was just wondering about that family. I would like to hear what they determine is the cause of death. Looks like both families disappeared around the same time. It's a bad deal all the way around. So sad.

I saw that and immediately thought about all the one's here that prayed they return safe. But as time went on, we all kinda knew they were gone.
Really sad deal

I'm curious as to the time period between this family and the other family in California that went missing that they just found and if the two are related. So sad.

I have thought of this family often over the years.  I always hoped they would turn up ALIVE somewhere and maybe just decided to live off the grid for a while.  The fact that their dog was left in the truck, didn't really point in that direction, though!  Prayers for their family and friends.

It was about 4 months between both families disappearances. Seeing the Mcstays were found made me think of the Jamison family too. I was pretty convinced that the Mcstays went to Mexico and it sounded like the Jamison's could have been in Witness Protection. It's difficult to fathom how anyone could do this, especially to children. Sure hope they find whoever did this.

The family....the man's mother was on the TV tonight. Showed the dog that was left in the pickup at the time they disappeared. She still has him.
Found about 3 miles from where they disappeared. Coroner results in a few days (?)...said dental records would confirm. Can't believe its been 4 yrs since this all happened.

The family that was found in the desert, has ties to Houston. I caught part of a news segment.

Its so strange about the circumstances with the OK family.

What about the girl that just vanished from her house? I think she was somewhere around the area that the family in Ok was from? Or maybe a surrounding state? She was college age, and her brother and her were home, she went outside, and never returned. Does anyone remember that story?

I remember that story. I want to say it was in Arkansas and she was going to school to become a nurse, maybe. It was very strange as well.

I think y'all may be talking about Holly Bobo. She still hasn't been found. They did a segment a few months back about different evidence they had. One thing they said was they traced her cell phone and found that whoever had it came back to the scene during the search party efforts. They believe it is someone local. I think there are some issues between the police and investigators hired by the Bobo family if I'm remembering correctly. Her case is a very strange one as well. Her brother witnessed the abduction and there was a lot of suspicion about him being involved somehow.

The only update I have to this story is that they do believe it was the missing family, the Jamisons, but it has not been confirmed yet.  They also state that the OSBI (Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation) does not believe foul play was involved in their deaths.  This I do not understand - unless maybe they were struck by lightning?

Yep, that is Holly Bobo from Parsons TN. Her cousin is country singer Whitney Duncan.

I think there is something fishy about Holly's case. My gut feeling is that it's someone who was close to the family or that knew Holly really well.
