Location: Riding Crackhead. | I have to give a shout to PHT for their awesome products. Now that our season is pretty much over for the winter months and we're done harvesting I have time to ride some horses that I haven't had time for in a long time. One of the horses is my ex stud horse who will be 17 in January. We had a serious wreck at a rodeo a few years ago, no matter how many chiro/vet/massage therapy/acupuncture apts I made we just couldn't get him quite right so I kicked him out to pasture. Take that along with the fact that he ties up and had a bad reaction to a Brand X magnetic blanket one weekend at a barrel race. I haven't run him since and he barely gets ridden as I've bought younger horses and lack of time for the old guy. Fast forward a few years. I qualified for 3 horses in the Bonus Finals so with the entries coming up soon I needed to figure out who my 3rd horse was going to be. I got out old Bugs a few weeks ago and started lightly riding him. He felt real stiff so I continued taking it slow and easy and was giving up hope that he was going to be my 3rd horse and was thinking of what plan B was. This past week I put a PHT blanket on him and hoped and prayed the brats he lives with didn't pull it off him. I finally had time today to ride him. He'd had the blanket on 24 hours a day for 3 days. When I walked out to get him I noticed he was loping in the pasture. Weird because he's lazy as hell. I started my ride slowly as always with alot of walking. As we headed out of my yard he wasn't just ambling like normal he was power walking. We walked about a mile through a stubble field then I asked him to alternate trotting and walking for another half mile or more. We got to a nice spot in the field and I asked him to lope a circle for me. He bucked. I know that's horrible but I had to laugh because this guy doesn't waste any energy exerting himself. I asked again, he loped a bit and bucked some more. I did some straight loping down the field, he bucked harder! He wasn't being naughty at all - he felt GOOD! His eyes are bright, his ears up and he wants to run and buck! After a few miles of riding I went to my arena and trotted the pattern then asked him to lope it. He didn't want to lope he wanted to run and dig around the barrels just like the old days! Its the PHT blanket. That's the only thing I've changed since my last ride. My story got windy but I want to thank PHT for wonderful products, thank SG for answering all my questions and thank God for giving me another chance with my old gelding. Now keep in mind I know we'll be lucky to be in the 4D at Lincoln but that's ok, I have younger and faster horses to fill in the faster D's.
I know there are non believers in the products and that's ok but for those that are on the fence....it works. I'm a no name person that's just a weekend warrior but I'm a believer....and so is Bugs.  |

I've had great results on myself personally using human magnets.
and as for my naughty, ornery mare, her PHT blanket is the only blanket she doesn't try to chew off of herself. |

Well he won't be "winning it" LOL but he dang sure wants to do something and has some try again which makes me thrilled!

Hubby went through 7 horses and the donkey before there was a big pause on the line and said....BUGS??? LOL We had a big laugh talking about it at supper.  |

He's a big baby and is blanketed 6 months out of the year in the winter so I knew he would be careful with his PHT blanky I just didn't know if the donkey would leave it alone. She can be houdini getting buckles undone and undressing horses. Yikes!
In all seriousness, if you can swing it, buy one. Your mare will be a happy camper. Black Friday is coming up and that's when I've bought a lot of my PHT items. Maybe SG will have a great sale again this year! |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | I have two PHT blankets and I can't say enough. My big girl Salty is likely going to get one for Christmas too (ssshhhh don't tell my husband).
I have two reasons of knowing these thigns work. First is Grasshopper. I sent his down to be on him when he spent 15 weeks at the vet hospital. Between that and two rounds of Nutra Wound I 100% know without a doubt they helped him stay infection free. I don't discount that Dr. Tanner worked magic and saved him and the team down there did a phenomenal job but they were shocked that he kept as much infection off and he slept as much as he did and I know without a doubt it was because I had his PHT blanket on him the entire time and we gave him THE nutra wound. I will say, Grasshopper has tried and been almost successful at shredding his PHT blanket...4 times. He does not like it coming off of him. But he loves that blanket there is no doubting that.
My other horse Lilly has one. Dr. Tanner just did surgery on her. She is now living in her PHT blanket and will continue to do so while she is on stall rest and when she heads to 3 weeks of rehab. She also will start getting the 3n1's on her legs when the bandage comes off in another day or two. I know for a fact that she feels better when she has that blanket on her and she won't go without it.
I can't say enough great things about PHT. Yes they are expensive (just ask my husband) but the blanket is well worth the money. I am convinced of it. |

Location: Lala Land | I'm excited for the Black Fri sale..... my husband told me the other day he's done arguing w/ me about my horse after he said "he's fine" and we spent 4 hrs with Dr. Tanner ruling out issues. At least we found our problems and I was RIGHT he was off... so that being said I can probably buy him the moon and not hear anything. |

No they don't need a break
I recommend when you have a problem or first get it to leave it on 5 to 7 straight days. Yes take off each day and look at your horse like you would any blanket. But it perfectly fine to let them stay in their blankets |
