Location: Golden Gulf Coast of Texas | Since we have covered almost everything else, how about where you gamble the most at and what's your favorite poison? I used to be slots only but last year got hooked on Texas Holdem. My sisters finally talked me into it and last year I sat for almost 8 hours at one table. |

some of the worst odds in the casino are the Wheel.
It can be fun and I have played it but you will never win

Odds are bad but lots of fun with the right crowd. There is a dealer at Harrah's that I swear every year I go he has long runs of hitting all one color and I have won off of him a few times. But losses far out weigh my wins. |

Location: Red Raiderland | I started to play video poker way back in the 1990's and over the years I have learned it well through computer programs like Bob Dancer's VP for Winners and it is definitely a game of skill. My husband and I go to Vegas for many days and only play VP, it's so fun once you learn it. Best place to play is the Orleans, that's where the locals go and the machines have the best pays 9/6/4 or even 10/6 machines. BTW, the Orleans also has pretty good Texas Holdem but the locals(old guys and gals) WILL take your money! |

I hate video poker just because I have the attention span of a gnat most of the time.
But I have a relative that makes a living(honest injun) playing video poker.

Where is Orleans??? Downtown??? I usually don't wander very far off strip. Been down to Golden Nugget and they weren't very nice to me. |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | I will be with a 14 year old so no gambling for me this year but my husband and I LOVE to play craps together. We got hooked on a cruise.
Funny story, we went to the NFR for 5 days a couple of years ago and stayed at the Hard Rock. We decided to play craps and boy did we get a wake up experience. There was a guy who I would probably say is a "professional gambler." Man was he rude and obnoxious and said some downright mean things to EVERYONE. Ruined the whole experience. But this other guy shows up and stands right next to us. He was on his phone and then turned it off and showed up and laid down money. We watched the dealers count it out-$10k. He proceeded to bet it ALL. And then lost it in like 5 minutes. Me and the hubby's eyes were huge. he gets back on the phone, comes back a couple of minutes later, drops another $10k. Lost that too. I told my husband we were in the wrong business. He seriously was in his 20's. No joke. That is some craziness right there. |

| Three Card Poker is my favorite.. wont play it at Aria though because the deal the cards face up.
Craps is next, but my luck is way streaky. Bellagio is my favorite place for craps.
Enjoy Blackjack and $1 and up slots as well.
Im pretty much a Vegas-aholic... Ill play anywhere

It is not on the strip but not too far from it either. If you are at the corner of the strip and Tropicana go west over I-15 a couple of blocks and it is on your right. It is out on the westside where the Gold Coast and Rio are located. We also find good machines downtown at Binion's and some at Silverton. There are other places but the Orleans, by far, is the best for video poker. |

Yep, you gotta pay attention to each hand and know what to hold or you can lose quickly. If your relative plays mathmatically correct than depending on the game, Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus, Dueces Wild, etc and pay schedule you can get 98%-100% back over your ENTIRE time of play BUT you have to be able to play the peaks and valleys, because one day or two days you can NOT lose and the next 5 days that is all you do! I do it only for fun knowing that I will lose x amount of $'s and if I win, YAY for me. |

Yes I am sure they can be, but it was more fun than feeding my money to a machine and being done in 5 seconds. I played about 2 hours the night I decided to try this, after standing and watching for a long time. I played up to win quit a bit and then played it back down to what I started with. |

Location: Illinois | If you want to gamble in Vegas I suggest purchasing the American Casino Guide. Make up a yahoo or other email account and use the coupons when signing up at players clubs. That way it spams that email only and you can often get a lot of free credits. My uncle was there last year & came out $2,500 ahead and spent just under $10 of his own money. It was all won from the free credits he got from using the coupons. It also has a ton of coupons for restaurants, bars, & attractions. |

We stayed there last year and hated it. The whole atmosphere was creepy. We ended up not gambling at all. (Which was probably a good thing) LOL |

Really, creepy, how? It's not FANCY like those casinos on the strip but they don't have ish for video poker, either. It's also not bottom of the barrel either. |

Location: Randolph, Utah | I can't tell you the best place to gamble but I like to play 3 card poker, blackjack, and one trip I got into roulette! I'd lost a ton at blackjack and the roulette table saved me! Lol I'll probably never get that lucky again but it was fun, especially if you get the right people playing with you. |

Location: OK | We had the BEST time at the Golden Nugget--spent an entire afternoon with a group of women-we had the whole table to ourselves, the dealers were good to explain stuff. The cocktail waitress brought us drinks (free! except for tipping-if you tip, they come back more frequently!) I started with $200 and left with $180--not bad for an afternoon entertainment and drinks!
