Location: Spokompton, Wa | Does anyone juice as part of their diet? I was suckered into watching an infomercial for the Nutribullet and now I'm intrigued. lol
I think I have some hormone issues going on. I eat right now, exercise and get plenty of sleep but yet, I am ALWAYS tired. I just wonder if I need a little something extra.
Let me know how it went for you if you have tried it.

| I would try a multi vitamin supplement. The "GO" that they're getting is from natural sugars in juices. It doesn't hit you as hard as coming off of cafeine, but I'm sure all that sugar isn't good for your system either. | |

Location: OH. IO | I have the BULLET and LOVE it. I incorporated the kale juice recipe into my daily routine, and felt much better. It took me a long time to buy only enough items for a week,i had alot of leftover, items like strawberries and the kale ,i had to throw away and buy fresh. There is ALOT of things you can do with the bullet, and its nice for horse shows too.

| I do daily; it is the only way I can get hubby to eat greens. I use the Nutribullet. I love it because it is super easy to clean, unlike other juicers we have had in the past. I usually mix half greens and half berries with a bit of ice to keep a good taste. I even give the juice to my 11 month-old. I like juicing better than relying on man-made multivitamins- I know I'm getting good stuff from the source (though I'm not knocking vitamins).
As far as energy, my mother-in-law swears it makes her feel better and be more energetic. But, I haven't gotten any sleep since my son was born so I can't vogue for it there ;)
ETA: I also like the Nutribullet because there isn't any pulp to throw away. ALL of the ingredients are used with no waste.

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | I have the Health Master. It pulverizes everything to liquid. I add Liquid Vitamins (morning) Flax seed Chia and Spinach or kale to my mixed fruit and add Ice. I can have a cup at 8 in the morning and don't have any thing to eat until 2 in the afternoon It gets me wide awake and moving. I love it I don't have those sugar cravings or nibbles in between, great for the evening meal no cravings acts like my dessert and fall to sleep easier. I just don't add the vitamins flax or chia in the evening.

This describes me too! By the time I mix a lot of stuff up to "juice" its 300 calories and 65 carbs and after I drink it I'm still hungry. It doesn't hit my stomach heavy like eating 300 calories worth of food...to me it just makes me feel like I drank a lot of liquid but got no actual food and definitely didn't get any appetite suppression. I like the taste of them but they're too high in calories and carbs for me to drink as a snack and I starve when I try to drink them as a meal.

Location: Texas | To me, the benefits can be outweighed by the calories of it. I think it really depends on your blender on ingredients. If you use all fruit and a blender that eliminates the pulp, you are getting something high in fructose (sugar) and stripping out vital nutrients.
ETA - Also, juices made primarily of fruit will have minimal protein. Protein, fiber, and fat keep you full longer. Straight juice is better than soda, but not much in terms of sugar and calorie count. Again, that depends on how you make yours.
Since you say you eat right, exercise, and get plenty of sleep, your diet may not be the problem. And if that is the case, juicing won't change your situation.
My thought is that you could be anemic, which is common in women and would cause you to be tired. But if it is a hormonal problem, it's better to find out from a medical professional than through self-diagnosis. They would be better able to determine if changing up your diet would help things or if it's something that needs to be treated through other methods.

Where do you get this? I'm taking chlorophyll and spirulina pills. I like them. Wouldn't mind trying Juice Plus vitamins - they are supposed to be good.

Location: Prosser, WA | When I do it I put whey protein powder in as well. I would put some kale, lettuce, lots spinach, carrots and ginger in it. I tried doing it every day there for awhile but I didn't like making one thing for me and then something else for my kids.
