Location: Georgia | What's the best and if you have one that you think is AWESOME, would you please send it to me!!! I love homemade chocolate fudge, with or without pecans. I prefer fudge with pecans, but I also love just plain chocolate. I'm the dessert maker for the holidays this year and I'm looking for some awesome recipes.
The list so far, let me know what you think... BUTTERMILK PIES RED VELVET MARBLED POUND CAKE FUDGE(IF I FIND A RECIPE) PUMPKIN ROLL WITH CREAM CHEESE AND PECAN FILLING

I would imagine that you could add nuts to that recipe? |

Location: My Own Little World | I have quite a few recipies for fudge (my fav thing!) but by far the easiest and best IMO is the one on the back of the Jet Puff marshmallow whip jar. I use Giradelli(sp) dark chips and a good quality salted butter for mine |

| There is a recipe on the back of toll house chocolate chips for fudge. I use that and substitute almond extract for the vanilla. It's really good.
Copied from their website:
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup (5 fl.-oz. can) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 cups (9 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
COMBINE sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in medium, heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil, stirring constantly, for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
STIR in marshmallows, morsels, nuts and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted. Pour into prepared baking pan; refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Lift from pan; remove foil. Cut into 48 pieces.

I grew up eating the fudge recipe from the Jet Puff jar. It was always SOOO good. I will try the Ghirardelli chips. My husband loves Ghirardelli Special Dark. I'm more of a milk chocolate fan but I will definitely give this a try. Thank you!!! |

Location: California | I must have misplaced my fudge recipe but these peanut butter chocolate balls are my favorite ! A must try if you love chocolate and peanut butter , but be careful . Once you make them you may want to eat them all !
Ingr: 1 (7oz) Jar of marshmellow cream (Kraft) 1 cup Peanut Butter (Creamy) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon Vanilla
(Mix the above and then add 1 cup powdered sugar)
Make balls of desired size ( I like to make them with a regular spoon) and then allow them to chill in the fridge on wax paper. Melt 1 bag chocolate chips and dip the balls into the melted chocolate and put back in the fridge on wax paper to chill.

| Ok I am probably the only person who isn't crazy about the marshmellow type fudge. I like the really dark homemade kind that has a grainy texture. It is very old school. Does anyone have that recipe?

Me too. I like to rub the fudge between my teeth and tongue and dissolve the sugar granules. |

That is the one that I use also and yes real butter makes it 10 times better. |
