The half breeds have a wider base so you don't put pressure on the sides of your feet and they don't put torque on your knees.

I had knee surgery for a torn meniscus and after scraping the joint, it excellerated my osteoarthritis. I have all of the other slanted and crooked stirrups and these were the best for my knees and hips.

My sister is 50 years old and just had both of her knees replaced and these are the only stirrups she can ride in. The rest she ends up having to ride without stirrups.

Rockyroad knows which style is best for barrel racers. I have bought 3 pairs from her.

I have both the cushioned and uncushioned.



They retail for $155.00 and $160.00. I can't tell that much difference between the two. My sister rides in the cushioned and loves them. I love both of them.



I'm pretty sure Rockyroad has them on sale right now.
