He looks like a SUPER nice horse... Only things I would knock him on conformationally from that pic is his pasterns appear a little upright and he looks a hair long in his back :)

I think she's cute. she might be a little long but she looks well balanced and everything fits together nice. I wouldn't mind her in my barn at all!

I'd like to see a little thicker bones in those legs to hold up that framework, but what are ya gonna do.  If they're perfect you can't afford um.

Nice horse..........

From the photo she is a little long in the back and a little short in the neck. I' d love to wave a magic wand and put the extra body length into her neck. However, I LOVE her too. I had a red roan mare built exactly like this, she was only 14.2hh and an absolute powerhouse. Tons of heart and don't anyone tell her she was not quite built right lol.

Good luck with purchasing her, as I said, I really, really like her, faults and all.

She looks conformation wise like my buckskin, i thought a little light on bone plenty of body. Butmshe could haul booty and did not matter wheather i kept fit looking or,she got into grass she still could run. She would still be running today if she had not fell and tore her some ligiments in her stifle and damaged her mensicus. And she has several full brothers and sisters still running. The man i bought her from told me several weeks ago he wish he had not sold her to,me. I bought sight unsean, some one that was helping those people convienced them she was too small she was 14.2 as a two year old just a tad over 15.0 now, i love ahe is 18 now i have a baby just like her who is 13.2 and six months old and a spittin image with a blase.

If I were being PICKY I would like her back to be a bit shorter and I would like a little more slope to her shoulder and I would like the withers a bit more pronounced again that is being really picky - nice mare. too bad no papers but that happens - nice diamond in the not-so-rough!  plus she is a roan which makes everything better :)

I am far from a conformation critic, but I am just curious as to how you determine her back to look long? When I glance at her pic, I think she looks short-backed. What am I missing?
