That is what I was wondering. I have really short legs so the stirrups are clear ip next to the fenders. Making it very hard on my knees to keep them turned out. |

| In that case, they may help you then. Have you thought about replacing your fenders with just nylon straps or something that isn't so hard to twist? Are your fenders really stiff? |

| I have them and love them. They stayed turned and if you loose a stirrup, it's easy to put your foot back in. I have not tried the nettles so I can't compare them. But mine are twisted and slanted Walls ( the wide ones). |

| yes, they work great. I switched to crookeds and nettles for other reasons but when I had the twisted I loved them |

| I also have short legs. The saddle I have now has the Hamley Twist on the length adjustments of the fender and that helps twist the stirrup out. In the past I've had to trim the top of the fender in order to get the fenders short enough and free up the fender movement. To see what a Hamley twist is go to Martin Saddlery website, build your saddle. it has a pic of the twist. I ride in a slanted stirrup, but haven't seen any difference in the regular stirrup feel. |

Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | what is the difference betweent the Elite twisted and Twisted? Does anyone know... other than the price.
I have 2 prs of the original crooked and really like them. These look like they could really improve on your knee or ankle pain. |

| I had the slanted stirrups put on my Shiloh when I ordered it. I hated them the first time I rode in them. I cant live without them now. They have taken pressure off my knees and back and I have not had a rubber band on my feet since I started using them. |

| I bought a martin saddle with the hamley twist and I won't ever get a new one without it. It turns the fenders out. I have crooked stirrups on my roping saddle and I like them, I don't ever lose them. I don't notice any differences in my knees or any other joints but I'm also only 22 years old. |
