| I am very relieved now. A friend of mine came over said she was huge and was I sure there weren't twins in there. It is already an active little booger! My poor mare is not very happy to be pregnant |

Location: Bandera, TX | Β Mine are looking pretty normal. Praying that they drink enough during this cold front. I always worry a bit with maidens...I have one that I'm worrying about come foaling time. This mare has run me out of her paddock when you catch her off guard. No guard donkey needed here, she'll take on the big cats and coyotes! Mine are due late March. I'll try to post pics. From a week ago.Β
It wouldn't post the pic from my phone...

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | I have a 14 hand little mare she looks like she is carrying two, I'll have to separate her soon but I don't want her by herself as we have a lot of coyotes and other critters in the area the others will stomp anything that opposes a threat and best in numbers,, but they are mean and she is at the bottom of the totem pole. She's not due till june. |

Location: Smack in the middle of WA! | My mare is due early April and is quite big already! But she is only 14.1 so it makes her look bigger. Can't imagine what she's gonna look like in 4 1/2 months!

She's a maiden mare and going to be 17 next year. Pretty excited for this foal as she is bred to CS Flashlight

yes, if your mare wasnt ultra sounded, there dang sure COULD be twins.
My maiden mare was a last minute decision to breed - we had planned to run her this year. So shes only 4.5-5 months along and she barely looks preggo!! I think the biggest thing is depends on the build ...shes a big racey mare with a super long underline -- they hide theirs better!!

Location: Texas | My maiden looks pregnant but not really big. She's a bigger bodied mare and has a lot of space for it to hide, LOL. My stoli mare was maiden last year and every time I put pictures of her up on the internet, people would tell me she was open. I knew she wasn't open but it was unsettling every time. This year she definitely looks pregnant already.
Here's a picture of her 5 months in foal for her second foal.
And this second picture is her at 313 days with her first foal. She foaled at 343.
Third picture is her 6 months in foal with her first foal.

Location: Riding Crackhead. | I know you asked for maiden mares but my mare is in foal with her 2nd foal after she was open last year. We can't believe how much bigger she is this year than she was 2 years ago. She's huge and due April 25th. Last time she foaled 2 weeks early when I was 6 hours away at a rodeo. She'll do the same thing this year and foal when I'm in Lincoln. Sucha brat. |
