| Anybody know what this movie is called?
It's a older western, and there is a pony called Red that two cowboys keep stealing from one another. Red does all sorts of tricks and is quite a character himself. There's more to the story than the pony but he's what's standing out.
I tried googling Red but couldent find it, I thought my daughter might like it! |

I think this movie can get pretty sad, so I wont watch it, just saw bits and pecies of it, the one part I saw was a horse laying in the barn fixing to foal I think and the boy and grandfather and dad were helping the mare have her foal. |

That's not the same movie. That book is terribly sad. I used to have to teach it. Thinking Steinbeck is the author. |

the rounders is not the movie I'm thinking of either :-( . That pony is very well broke and does all sorts of tricks and pranks, he is big enfough for the cowboys to ride but still a pony. |

I think the movie you're talking about is The Rounder's. the rounders is not the movie I'm thinking of either :- ( . That pony is very well broke and does all sorts of tricks and pranks, he is big enfough for the cowboys to ride but still a pony.

it's been driving me crazy for months!!
I don't think it's a Disney, but I don't know much lol.
There are differently funny parts, but also some drama bit all I can member is the tricks this pony does. And one scene in the desert they were being tracked e stops red and he's slathered and cowboy tells red "he can't keep going like this" or something like that.
It was years and years ago, my kiddo was asking for a fun cowboy movie to watch and I thought it would a good one for her. |

I'm not sure the people in it, but that sounds close!!!. And one of the guys has a whistle and Red will untie himself and go to the cowboy. I *think* there's also a lady somehow involved. |
