Location: Texas | I don't remember anything other then eating a pickle every day for almost my whole pregnancy with my son.... and I couldn't go without pimento cheese sandwhiches.
This time around I am all over the place. The last couple of months all I want is spicy food. I don't usually like anything spicy but now I am looking for a reason to use Tobasco sauce lol. I also eat a bag of those hot fries every day, I am so addicted to those things. The spicy cravings started around 3 months or so, I really didn't pay attention so that is my best guess. I did eat an entire jar of pickles at my mom's house a few weeks ago. They keep pickles stocked for when I come over even though the whole pickle thing only lasted a couple of weeks. At the very beginning of this pregnancy I wanted cheese. Block of cheese, shredded cheese, cheese nips, cheetos, cheese whiz... I really wasn't picky.
The thing I wish I had most was Sushi, crab, lobster, shrimp... and lots of it. I figured that craving was mainly because I know I can't have it. Even though I do love my seafood, I have never wanted it this bad. |

Location: Nor'Dakoda | First baby I wanted strawberry jelly sandwiches, peaches, pepsi over ice, and pizza. Second baby was oranges. Like, 4 of them a day! Also, chocolate shakes from McDonalds. Third one was a boy, and I really don't remember having any cravings at all. Mostly just wanted fresh fruit and veggies. This time around I don't really have any cravings either, but the fresh fruit and veggies are sounding **** good again, so I'm hoping this one is a boy too! How far along is everyone else?

So far I'm with you on fruits and veggies! I can't stand ice cream (or almost any sweets other than fruit), but I love my Yonanas! (That's worth googling/purchasing if you haven't lol- basically ice cream, ONLY fruit, no cream or anything and sooooo good!) also, in my "normal life" I hate cheese now- I can't get enough melted cheese. Homemade nachos, taco salads, cheeseeee! Hahaha im 13 weeks :) STILL SO EARLY! |

Location: Texas | With my first son, I craved orange juice. I drank that stuff by the gallon. I also craved chocolate malts from Sonic and peanut butter Twix. I had a malt or Twix every day. He is now a certified chocaholic. Congrats to me... Was never sick with the first one.
This time has been a lot different, so we all thought it would be a girl. Nope, we are having another boy. The first trimester, I couldn't eat anything sweet. Made me so sick if I did. If I have chocolate now, it gives me a really bad headache or horrible, painful gas. (TMI, I know). But the main thing I have wanted is salsa...by the jar full. I can't get enough of it. I liked it before, but nothing like this. Oh and this time, I have tried to stay away from any sweets as much as possible because they do NOT appeal to me.
I am 28 weeks. |

Location: North Dakota | I can't get enough oranges. My Dr warned me to be careful because oranges are loaded with sugar! My favorite food WAS chinese but now even driving by the restaurant makes me sick. I hate cheese now and really want fruit constantly. I hate salad now, can't even watch someone eat a salad! I was always a water drinker, now I struggle to choke water down. I hate any sweets, even looking at cake or cupcakes makes me want to puke!!! I have been living on oranges really! I am grouchy and tired and depressed for no reason! |

| Oh my... We were snowed in for 2 days this week and I made a roast for the sheer purpose of roast beef sandwiches with horseradish, cheese, and pickles. Im not usually big on berries, but I've been craving blackberries and blueberries like crazy. Kiwi is another big one... Pickles of course- I've been eating lots of pickles, cheese, and crackers. Not too big on sweets, but when I decide I need something sweet I need it NOW. |

OMG I'm so glad we scratched the tip of this ice burg because I am NOT normally a big eater and man oh man do I eat now! What's worse is the only way to settle any nausea is to eat something salty/starchy so even when I don't fell like eating I know relief is just some Sunchips away! Lol I have gained 10-11 lbs, I'm in my 13th week and the body changes are harder to handle than I thought! I mean, I'm all for gaining weight FOR THE BABY, but I don't want to just go snack crazy and gain the wrong kind of weight too quickly :( I'm so not used to having an appetite like this! |

| Ice cream! Or any sweets. I'm not typically a big sweets person, or ever ate much ice cream, but I wanted it alot and still do. I craved shrimp for a bit. Eat alot of baked potatoes. Cheese, any kind of cheese I want. Fruits. I actually hate milk especially white milk but felt compelled to try it one day, still hated it but normally wouldn't ever taste it again. Orange juice, any juice, water I wasn't a big water drinker before now it doesn't bother me.
I'm at 33 weeks right now and my appetite just doubled the past few weeks, so has my stomach. |

I think when I went in for my 13ish wk appointment I had gained 15lbs. I went for my week 26 last month and I have already gained 40lbs!!!! and I am not really snacking just eating more at breakfest then I use to (I use to just have coffee and yogart) now I have bagel and/or oatmeal and coffee. Like I said I was a big eater before so I don't feel like I am really eating that much more at meals but I must be!! Also though I blame part of it on I switched jobs to one that I sit at desk all day, and get home too late to ride right now. So I am going from walking around at work, and riding most days after work, to sitting all day at work and riding only on sundays.... :( Like you I don't really mind the weight gain, but it is a little of a shock. My mom tells me she always gain 50+ lbs and out family has big babies.... but by the way my cloths are fitting it AINT all belly :/..... This is my first and I had no idea what to expect but never relized how uncomfortable and hard it would be to do normal things it would be with a belly!!! I can hardly wash my feet!!! hahahahaaha |
