I said the same thing tonight...just isn't the same! Yes it is nice to see new ladies come and run down the alley, but I do miss watching those group of horses. |

Location: Stuck in a cubicle having tropical thoughts | My mom doesn't keep up with the riders names and horses names and bloodlines and winnings like I do, but she texted me to tonight and said "The lady that rides the horse Martha from Canada, what is her name and why isn't she in the NFR this year?"
I wonder if Lindsay Sears misses it this year or if she's enjoying another path in life. Can't wait to see Martha's babies but really miss her in action.

Location: Texas | I'm so excited for Michele and Slick! She's such a nice person. I think she could beat Sherri in some rounds if Slick kicks in to another gear. His turns have been smooth and consistent.
I've been laughing at myself the past two nights as I have been trying to stay awake long enough to watch the barrels. I keep dozing off but it seems when my brain hears Barrel Racing it signals an alarm and I wake up right as the pattern is being set up.  |

She has one of the fastest horses, if not the fastest, of the rodeo - but she wisely made a nice smooth controlled first run, Added a bit more confidence laat night, and i just expect them to continue getting stronger each night! They are certainly a special team !! |

Very impressed both with Michelle's riding & Slick running out there in that pen like he's been there before. She is keeping her cool & making smart runs. I'd be so dang nervous I would probably forget the pattern. And for a young horse Slick is sure bringing his A game. He sure appears to be very well behaved in the alley & such too. |
