Location: California | There was a rule that we couldn't use metal or wire nose bands. Has that been changed? Saw one at NFR so just wondering. |

I thought I noticed Trevor B using one oh his head horse but it was wrapped in electrical tape. I don't know if there is a PRCA rule against those though. |

| I don't know about the WPRA rule but I do know the PRCA rule is they are allowed as long as they are covered (black tape, vet wrap, etc). One guy tried to use saran wrap and was told to fix it or be fined LOL Always someone pushing the rules. :) |

Location: Durant, OK | The rule is they have to be covered. Any metal (wire or chain) touching the horses face and so many inches on each side. |

I think you need to use your zoom button and look at it closer. |

| Looks like a cable tie down to me. I looked at the video of her coming down the alley and that is what it looked like. Those that are covered with plastic. |

I did. It is zoomed at home but when I submitted it, it printed the whole horse. It is definitely a wire tie down. This same pic may be on her Facebook page. |

Anyone else notice that the only two horses that are wearing tiedowns at the NFR are the only ones that have won rounds so far. |

You know I was kidding right? Just referencing the threads that pop up every few months about the pros and cons of tiedowns...and the silly pointless fights that ensue..
Now, speaking of repetitive threads and silly pointless fights....How many girls in Vegas are using rubberbands on their feet?? |

Excellent observation that I missed.
Now, where are all the "true believers" that will state they wouldn't ride a horse that needed a tie down.... |
