Now I need the horse. maybe I should have started with my story.......Year before last we were in Phoenix. Went to a horse sale to meet Kelly. Bought a beautiful thoroughbred. Sent him to school for 30 days. He and I started to really click. My confidence was coming back along with my desire to run barrels again. Last year around this time he colic'd. We tried everything and ended up having to put him down. The last horse that was going to be good broke his leg and had to be put down. Soooooo, it was many years between my going to be good guys. I've decided to finally just try to get one already on the pattern.

I was thinking the same thing. I have a gelding that built my confidence up and now will have at least 3 or 4 to run this next season. I'm too lazy to run that many.

I bought back the first horse I ever trained and she will be my confidence builder.....she is a 14hh pony but I trust her with my life. I raised her from birth and now she is 17. I'm going to start running her this spring so I can build my confidence enough to do my good mare justice. And so I can give my other babies a good start.
