Now that I have your attention

Has anyone on here used/owned Farm-Tek or cloth barns/buildings?
We are considering purchase of one in the future as an indoor arena and possibly putting some stalls in there...please share your experiences
Thanks and sorry for the bait and switch, but no one answers questions like this it seems.

| We have a 14 x 30 (ish, I think 34) for hay storage. It's about 6 years old now and holding up great. The ones for indoor arenas are a different animal tho. I would definitely want some experienced help to assemble one that size. We struggled quite a bit to get ours up. |

Thanks! My husband has the skill to put one up and large equipment we could borrow if needed. I've never been in one or seen one in person.
We are considering one because it is cheaper than building a "real" barn. lol
I also don't know if ou can stall horses in there, or what it would be like. There are "real" barns on the property we are looking at, but I would have to put up an arena if I wanted one. Being able to put stalls in there would be an added bonus.
Also we were looking at a 60 x 135ish sized indoor...if someone wants to chime in on the size that would also be helpful |

my husband seems to think the fabric barn will be cheaper. He buys steel on the regular and could build it himself, so I'm going to ask why you went with the steel ove the cloth? durability?
was it a considerably higher cost? |

Mildly disappointed that there will be no bloodletting....but.
I don't have my own cloth arena, but I did have free use of one for just over a year. It has seemed to stand the weather really well as far as aging. It also was always at least 10 degrees colder in there, even in winter! Depending on where you are his might be less than ideal for winter work...
Also; the ventilation in those things is excellent, which means that the ground gets dusty really fast. So a good treatment plan is definitely called for! |

Thank you, that is very helpful
I'm in the Midwest near Chicago... it does get cold here. I would have an area to put stalls in a "real" barn, so this would be more an arena only
however putting extra stalls in there would be a major plus |

| A place I worked at a few years ago had one as an indoor.. I loved it! It was pretty quiet when it rained compared to most indoors. |
