 Am I really the Weirdo?
Location: Kansas | It seems like finding a plain 1/2 or 3/4 inch thick wool saddle pad (30X30 or somewhere around that size) would be really easy but I have had absolutely no luck. Matt and I are both needing something along those lines - he needs to replace the one he's using with his Bob Marshall and I would like something contoured but not all that thick to go under a treed saddle for my oldest gelding. Any ideas where to look for a plain wool pad? |

| I just ordered some stuff from Jeffers and saw one that was reasonably priced kind of tan wool. Might check them. |

Location: Texas | Look for a Diamond wool pad. I know KO Trading carries them, and I'm sure other stores do as well. |

The last two pads we have bought are both 5 Stars. The best part, the first one was for my barrel horse. The second one my roper hubby bought since I griped about him stealing mine all the time.
Why is that so funny? Because he griped so much about the price until he started using it. Turns out I may know a thing or two when it comes to tack. Just like anything else, you get what you pay for. |

| You can also look at Schneider Performance Pads! They are 5/8 in thick wool with any kind of ware-leathers you can imagine. |
