Location: Where I am happiest | Job Opening The 8x is looking for a unique person to fill an open job! Location: Huntsville, Texas Job description :
1 Must be able to ride good enough to exercise performance horses as needed...
2 Must have a valid drivers license and can drive a truck and trailer
3 Must be able to do some manual labor such as clean pens daily, feed horses twice daily, put on and take off blankets as weather dictates, clean trailers, brush manes tails and sweep.
4 doctor horses as needed 8X responsibilities:
1 1 bedroom apartment furnished
2 feed truck so don't have to use personal vehicle
3 electricity , water, trash and yard all covered
4 Monthly pay Single females only apply! Will be responsible for feeding, riding, cleaning and all else needing done 6 days a week. Feeding and blankets only on Sunday. 2 weeks vacation throughout the year and days off here and there This is a job that does requires alot of work. We need someone that is responsible and willing to go the extra mile and get all that is assigned done each day. Serious inquires only!!! The ones we've had you couldn't even count on to make sure that the water stayed filled up, much less anything else...unless you were standing right over them.
Around here there are many farms, ranches and custom combiners that only hire female help. The young guys are a pain in the butt, constantly partying and rough on equipment. The girls pay attention to detail, easy on equipment and good with animals. I think working for Joe B would be an awesome opportunity. |

I didn't intend my statement to be an absolute... The boys have a harder time not being "trainers" and just doing what is asked, but yeah...there have been plenty of females that I wouldn't hire either. |

Location: Somewhere else | Said that the last person who had that position was a female & the bunkhouse/living quarters are set up for a female. That they don't have a co-ed facility so they had to make a place just for females to stay. |
